Background:

Owner/Manager Celia Bertoia timed and organized runs on a volunteer basis for a decade before PERFECT TIMING became more than a whisper. It was in 1999 when she was head of the planning committee of the Bozeman race known as the Sweet Pea Run. "We hired a professional timing service out of Oregon, which was the closest company we could locate. As we watched what they did, and noted how much we had to pay them, we realized that, hey, we could do that!" The next year we did do that, for less money and with more accuracy. Celia's husband, Kyle Klicker, an engineer, acted as the back room brains of the operation. PERFECT TIMING was born. PERFECT TIMING is the only company of its kind in Montana. In 2008, PERFECT TIMING expanded to offering the DAG system of chip timing.

Celia and Kyle have experienced races from all angles: as casual participants, volunteers, competitive runners, event directors, and consultants. Celia has the organizational, management, and people skills, while Kyle has the technical know-how and calm demeanor necessary for making your next race a success.

Make life as a race director easier by letting PERFECT TIMING time your next event!

Runners Comments:

You can't improve the job you do. I pride myself on timing my own run accurately--very careful about starting and stopping my stopwatch. Your time was exactly the same as mine, to the tenth of a second. I don't think that's ever happened to me in a road race. Great job.
Ray C.

This is unbelievable! In my prime, I ran the Boston Marathon 13 times, the Marine Corps Marathon 18 times and the New York City Marathon 5 times. I have run hundreds of other races in big cities and small. Never before have I seen such service -- first a call from the race director the day before reminding me of the race and then these personalized results. You guys are incredible. For the past two years, yours is the only race I have run. If I can still run, walk, hobble or crawl next year, you can be sure I will be there.

Your email is a very nice touch to a wonderful day. I've run 51 marathons in 38 states and never have I received an email like this within a few hours after finishing the race.
